Commercial Item Description
This description covers a low density polyethylene bottle of 36.96 cc (1.25 ounce) capacity, oval in shape, complete with a screw cap and suitable as a component of Belt Weather Kits.
1. Salient characteristics:
1.1 The bottle with a capacity of 36.96 cc (1.25 ounces), with a tolerance of +/- 5%, shall be blow molded of an opaque, white, unbreakable, low density polyethylene plastic. It shall be oval in shape with a flat bottom, and a flat, standard, threaded cap with liner which is water tight.
1.2 Threads on the bottle shall be clear, sharp, molded edges functionally equal to machine cut threads which shall retain the cap securely on the bottle.
1.3 The cap shall be made of polypropylene, size 18-410 with a standard black finish.
1.4. Workmanship. The bottle shall be free from any defects that may affect its serviceability, durability, appearance, or present a hazard to the end user.
